Description of Project:

The overall objective of the project was to contribute to the al efforts for the conservation of endangered spoon billed sandpiper and sea turtles through providing protection to them at the Teknaf Ecologically Critical Area (ECA). The specific objectives were to safeguard the nesting of turtles, involve local community in conservation effort, encourage fishermen to release turtle caught in nets.
