Introduction
Nature Conservation Management (NACOM) is the pioneer, non-government, non-profit, pro-environment organization in Bangladesh, founded in 1987 with a goal to the protection of nature for better human life and its mission is to engage effectively to ensure the protection of nature while empowering local communities. Its mandates relate to biodiversity conservation, sustainable development, climate change adaptation, poverty alleviation, and sustainable natural resource management through research, knowledge sharing, and undertaking programs and projects to contribute livelihood improvement of the local resource-dependent community.
