Since the start of this ECO-LIFE activity, CPG has assisted the Bangladesh Forest Department in evicting 20 illegal houses located within the forest. CPG has also assisted the Bangladesh Forest Department in recovering about 150 acres of forest, capturing 1000 illegally logged trees, confiscating 23 tree-cutting instruments, and filing 25 legal lawsuits against 380 illegal poachers over the course of the project’s two years.
